NEW BOOK SERIES: HISTORY OF EUROPEAN POLITICAL AND CONSTITUTIONAL THOUGHT (Leiden and Boston: Brill)
The ESHPT is pleased to announce a new book series, with our members Erica Benner, Cesare Cuttica, László Kontler and Mark Somos as editors.
History of European Political and Constitutional Thought (HEPCT) https://brill.com/page/hepct is a peer-reviewed series of monographs, conference proceedings, and newly edited primary sources. It promotes the study of European traditions of political and constitutional thought from classical antiquity to the twentieth century. The series brings to its geographical, historical and thematic focus the full range of methods established in the field, from contributions on the conventional canon to comparative, transnational, global and critical approaches, while also aiming to foster new methodologies. HEPCT arises from a scheme of broader cooperation between Brill and the ESHPT. The series will be the publication venue for edited volumes based on ESHPT conferences; ESHPT members are especially encouraged to submit their work into the series; Brill shall sponsor ESHPT conferences and offer selected titles at a 50% discount during conferences; ESHPT members can purchase titles in the series at a 25% discount. But the editors would naturally like to rely on contributions from the widest possible range of scholars. With a group of dynamic associate editors and a distinguished advisory board, we are confident that the series will make a significant impact on the field. Watch out for the announcement of the first volumes (planned for publication in 2019), and send queries or proposals to the series editors or the acquisition editor at Brill, Arjan van Dijk, email@example.com !
